Effective leaders are those with a strong personal conviction, an ethical compass, are visionary, deal with abstractions, establish emotional bonds, inspire and motivate, are team oriented, create a collaborative environment, develop commitment, and build and leverage relationships. They are motivated to excel, lead change, display seasoned judgment, are risk takers, consistently show respect for others, and build relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
