Managing Projects Assessment
A successful project manager is described as one who is capable of developing a well-thought-out project plan that encompasses:
- Monitoring progress on tasks and budget and taking corrective action when needed. Keeping the project team and its stakeholders informed.
- Controlling project scope by weighing the need for modifications with the need for timely, cost-effective completion.
- Appropriately balancing the demands of competing projects.
The assessment addresses three areas of effectiveness:
- Conceptualizing and Planning the Project
- Organizing and Implementing the Project
- Tracking and Reporting Progress and Outcomes
